Call To Action - Assyrian New Year Resolution

Dear Friends,

The Assyrian American Cultural Organization of Arizona is working with the Arizona state legislature to pass a resolution that commemorates April 1st, as the Assyrian New Year.

This resolution shows the resilience of the Assyrian people throughout centuries, recognizes one of the major holidays for Assyrians, and legitimizes Assyrians as a distinct group with cultural celebrations within the state of Arizona.

You may view a draft of the Assyrian New Year Resolution here

Passing this resolution can only be done with your support by following three simple steps:

  1. Complete the form here which includes your name, email, and zip code.

  2. Authorize AACO to send a Call-to-Action letter on your behalf to the State Senators and House Representatives in your legislative district by checking the box next to “I am giving permission to AACO to send this letter to Arizona's elected officials on my behalf” at the bottom of the form.

  3. Share this post with your friends and families to help us reach legislators across Arizona.

We encourage each member of every household to complete these three steps to increase our strength in numbers and create a diverse coalition that supports our cause.

With gratitude,

AACO of Arizona
