Join us Thursday, July 27th at 6PM for the continued discussion on The Path to Assyria by Afram Yakoub. The book is available on Amazon prime. The book is about Assyrian activist, Afram Yakoub’s take on what we as people can do to renew our nation. Even if you don’t finish the book that’s okay because we will be meeting every two weeks until we get through the book before reading the next one. You can also listen to the Assyrian podcast episode featuring Afram to learn more about him before attending our meeting. Just search the Assyrian Podcast episode 148. The meeting will be held at the residence of Mikhial Mikho, Board of Director at AACO and Culture and Education chair. His address will be provided upon securing your RSVP by messaging us directly.

About the Author.

Afram Yakoub is an Assyrian born in Qamishli, Syria. Afram has been an Assyrian activist for over 20 years; his activism leading to being President of the Assyrian Federation of Sweden. Since leaving the position, Afram has written about his experiences and learnings, with the book Vägen till Assyrien - en uppmaning till nationell förnyelse published in Sweden last year (Tigris Press ISBN: 978-9198154160), before being published in English late 2020, titled The Path to Assyria - A Call For National Renewal (Tigris Press ISBN: 978-9198154160)
