AACO Celebrates One Year of the Assyrian Community Center

On Sunday, June 1st, the Assyrian American Cultural Organization (AACO) hosted a special Member Appreciation Open House to celebrate one year since the opening of the Assyrian Community Center. The event brought together members, families, and friends for an afternoon of reflection, gratitude, and celebration.

Guests enjoyed refreshments, a commemorative slideshow of the many programs and events held at the center since the opening, and AACO member swag. Each member received a free raffle ticket, and two lucky winners walked away with free tickets to the upcoming AACO Anniversary Party. Meanwhile, children enjoyed their own fun in a dedicated activity room hosted by the Assyrian Student Association (ASA), whose support helped make the event even more enjoyable for families.

The gathering was a heartfelt thank you to AACO members whose continued dedication and passion make the organization thrive. Here's to another impactful year of community building and cultural preservation!
